Remote Data Architect

Join our team as a Remote Data Architect. This position integrates technical prowess with analytical skills and strategic thinking to enhance data practices.You will collaborate with teams to improve user experiences, identifying challenges and integrating data into daily operations.Your expertise in data modeling, research, analysis, and data visualization will drive improvement in service delivery while ensuring ethical data use.This is a full stack data role, requiring both hands-on technical skills and strategic leadership experience.Key Responsibilities: Data Strategy and Leadership:Lead the development and implementation of the state's data initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Identify critical data needs and design impactful solutions.Explore the integration of machine learning, AI, and innovative analytics into government services.Mentor non-technical teams, enhancing their understanding and application of data.Analysis and Measurement:Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends and actionable insights.Present findings visually and clearly tailored for varied audiences.Develop detailed reports and dashboards to foster data-driven improvements.Technical Maintenance and Expansion:Establish and uphold enterprise data architecture standards.Optimize existing systems and pioneer new data innovations to improve service delivery.Oversee ETL processes for seamless data integration.User Engagement and Enablement:Design training programs to help teams utilize data effectively.Work with teams to establish KPIs for data-driven initiatives.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with leadership, IT, and stakeholders to address priorities and implement solutions.Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure shared understanding.Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in data collection, analysis, and driving business goals, especially with Google Analytics.Proficient in managing data pipelines, ETL processes, databases (SQL, Power BI).Hands-on experience with data manipulation using Python or R.Familiarity with modern data technologies and business intelligence tools.Strong presentation skills for various audiences, including leadership.Preferred Skills: Experience in industries like Health, Business, or Education.Work within large enterprises or public-sector organizations.Education background in applicable fields.Familiarity with data governance and working alongside data security groups.If you are excited about leveraging data to make a difference in government services, we invite you to reach out.
