Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Architect with a strong eye for residential exterior design to join our team. This role focuses on designing custom home exteriors, developing construction-ready drawings, and collaborating with internal and external partners to bring designs to life. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about residential architecture.

Responsibilities

Design custom residential home exteriors from concept through final construction documents
Develop architectural drawings, elevations, and exterior detailing
Ensure designs align with zoning codes, building regulations, and client requirements
Coordinate with consultants and contractors as needed
Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs, ensuring alignment with client vision and project goals.
Prepare detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and other drafting tools to communicate design intent clearly.
Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to negotiate project scope, timelines, and budgets effectively.
Manage construction processes including renovation projects and interior design elements while maintaining quality standards.
Develop comprehensive contracts and construction management plans that align with industry regulations and best practices.
Support business development efforts by preparing proposals, presentations, and engaging in client negotiations to secure new projects.
Coordinate with project management teams to ensure seamless execution from initial concept to final build.

Experience

Proven experience as an Architect or in a similar role with a robust portfolio demonstrating diverse project types such as commercial, residential, or institutional buildings.
Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (with Grasshopper), ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Hands-on experience with construction estimating, budgeting, project scheduling, and construction management processes.
Knowledge of contract negotiation strategies and experience managing contracts within the construction industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead design development from initial sketches through detailed drafting while coordinating multidisciplinary teams effectively.
Understanding of renovation projects and interior design principles to create cohesive spaces that meet functional requirements.
