What You'll DoProduce construction drawings for new homes, including floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans and detailsTurn sketches, redlines and design input into accurate, permit-ready plan setsRevise plans for customer options, structural changes and code requirementsWork with designers, estimators, engineers and the field team so plans are buildable and on scheduleKeep plan libraries, standards and drawing files organized and up to dateWhat You BringExperience drafting residential homes, with builder or architectural experience a plusStrong skills in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Revit or similar softwareWorking knowledge of residential construction methods and building codesThe ability to read and interpret construction documents and redlinesA sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage several projects at onceCompensation: $90,000-$100,000 per year (DOE)
