Rule Engine Architect

Designing and governing enterprise decision services, the remote Rule Engine Architect will develop scalable rule models using Drools BRMS and integrate them with Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs. Key responsibilities Architect and optimize rule execution through Rete algorithm tuning and caching strategies Develop and implement decision services leveraging DRL, Decision Tables, and DMN Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective governance and mentoring Required qualifications 8+ years of experience with Drools, Java, and KIE Workbench Proficiency in CI/CD practices Strong understanding of integration patterns with microservices and REST APIs Experience in tuning performance for rule execution Demonstrated ability to mentor and govern technical teams
