Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Job Captain to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the production of construction documents, coordinate consultants, and support project architects and project managers from design through construction. This is a fully remote position, open to applicants residing and authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and coordination of construction documents and technical drawingsCollaborate closely with Project Architects and Project Managers to ensure design intent is maintainedCoordinate consultant documentation, including structural, MEP, and specialty disciplinesManage QA/QC processes to ensure drawing consistency and code complianceCommunicate proactively with team members across remote locationsSupport construction administration as needed (RFIs, submittals, addenda)

Qualifications

Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in architecture, with demonstrated experience as Job CaptainProficient in Revit; knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and other industry tools preferredStrong knowledge of construction detailing, building systems, and code complianceExcellent organizational, communication, and coordination skillsAbility to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a virtual team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with healthcare, institutional, or complex commercial projectsLicensure is a plus but not required
