As a Salesforce Enterprise Architect, you will define and drive enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture and transformation roadmaps. You will lead architectural efforts across multiple Salesforce clouds to ensure scalable, secure, and well-integrated solutions aligned with business strategy. You'll translate strategy into target and transition architectures, establish governance and data standards, and guide cross-functional teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape large-scale transformations and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade Salesforce capabilities. You will stay current with the Salesforce ecosystem to drive strategic adoption and governance.

Responsibilities

Define the enterprise Salesforce architecture roadmap and principles for large-scale programsLead architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service, Revenue Cloud/CPQ and other Salesforce capabilitiesTranslate business strategy into target-state and transition architectures with implementation roadmapsEstablish standards for data, integrations, security, identity, scalability, performance, and platform governanceProvide enterprise-level direction for Apex, LWC, Flows, APIs, event-driven architecture and Salesforce platform capabilitiesDefine integration approaches between Salesforce and ERP, MDM, data platforms, middleware, and legacy systemsDrive API-led and event-driven integration using REST/SOAP, Platform Events, middleware, and integration platformsDefine enterprise data architecture and migration strategies including data ownership, data quality governance, archival and master data considerationsEnsure architecture complies with security, privacy, regulatory, availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirementsConduct architecture reviews and advise on build vs buy, configuration vs customization, technical debt, and platform optimizationReview solution designs for alignment with enterprise standardsEstablish Salesforce governance and CoE practices with reusable architecture patterns and development standardsPartner with senior stakeholders, Product Owners, IT leadership, vendors, and delivery teams to drive decisionsSupport presales, solutioning, estimations, RFIs/RFPs and executive presentations as neededIdentify risks, dependencies, technical debt, and develop mitigation strategiesMentor Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Technical Leads and senior engineersStay current with Salesforce ecosystem and evaluate new capabilities for enterprise adoptionKey requirements

12-18 years IT experience with enterprise application and solution architecture8-10 years Salesforce experience including architecture leadership on complex enterprise implementationsStrong hands-on understanding of Salesforce platform and multi-cloud architectureDeep expertise in Salesforce platform architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud); Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL; Salesforce xtnlbfm APIs and integration architectureData modeling and large-volume data architectureSecurity, authentication, identity managementDevOps and CI/CD strategy and release governanceExperience with multiple Salesforce orgs and complex enterprise integrationsKnowledge of integration patterns, APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, and enterprise data architectureAbility to evaluate nonfunctional requirements (scalability, performance, security, maintainability, availability, resilience)Experience defining architecture standards and governance for large programsStrong understanding of Salesforce platform limits and best practicesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to lead architecture discussions across teams, vendors, applications and geographiesstakeholder managementclear communicationleadershipSalesforce Sales CloudSalesforce Service CloudExperience Cloud
