1 month ago Be among the first 25 applicantsAs a Salesforce Solutions Architect, you will play an integral role in the high satisfaction of Vantage Point's clients through the design and development of scalable, high-quality Salesforce services and solutions. The Solution Architect is responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application and recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs. This position is 100% remote. This is a permanent position, and we are not accepting contractors, third-party candidates, or providing sponsorship. Primary Responsibilities Participates in and facilitates customer requirements and solution design workshopsCaptures and maps business requirements to system/technical requirements and identifies gaps and risksAssess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, and testingUnderstands the technical depth of the project and validates the correct resources for the projectManages and participates in the entire software development lifecycleRecommends alternative approaches, analyzes impacts, and provides sizing estimatesLeads design and code reviewsAnalyzes and mitigates bugs and issuesLeads release planning and deploymentDesigns, develops, tests, and documents scalable, high-quality business solutions to be built on the Salesforce platformConducts unit, integration, and performance testing and works closely with users for user acceptance testingSupports pre-sales engagements, estimates, and solution design and can articulate what requirements have changedWrites technical specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) jointly with the developer teamDocuments build plans and delegates work to developers and system administratorsWorks closely with our clients to assess their current architecture and architect solutions that meet their current needsArticulates the value of recommended solutions and approach to customerRequirements 7+ years of consultant experience in a client-facing role5+ years of Salesforce implementation experienceStrong experience leading technical requirements gathering and solution design sessions with clientsSuperior experience identifying and documenting the business process and technical requirements, developing process flow analysis, data modeling, and functional design experienceExperience writing user stories to capture business requirementsExperience managing a project team relevant to the delivery of the technical solutionStrong experience in enterprise-level projects using Agile software development methodologies throughout the whole development lifecycleStrong experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with third-party systemsExperience with data migrations from third-party systems to SalesforceHas familiarity and first-hand experience with third-party solutions that support vertical objectivesStrong Salesforce development and design skills including Apex, Lightning, SOQL, Process Builder, Flow, and other standard and advanced Salesforce automation toolsUnderstands all aspects of Salesforce current and future release functionality including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CommunitiesUnderstands the importance of scalability and maintainabilityUnderstands when to use a declarative solution versus a code solutionStrong experience leading release planning and deploymentSuperior experience recommending alternative approaches, analyzing impacts, and facilitating sizing estimatesSuperior experience conducting unit, integration, and performance testing and participating with users for user acceptance testing to support a successful project outcomeSuperior experience analyzing and mitigating bugs and issues as needed to support a successful project outcomeStrong experience leading design and code reviewsSuperior experience leading release planning and deploymentStrong experience leading client trainingSuperior experience demoing a solution to the clientSalesforce Administrator Certification Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect CertificationsExperience with Salesforce Financial Services CloudExperience with integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Boomi, or InformaticaQualities of the Ideal Candidate Thrives in a team-based, high energy, and fast-paced environmentService-oriented and innately driven to produce outstanding customer satisfaction and resultsEnjoys discovering, learning about, and implementing new technologiesAnalytical…
