Senior Architect

We are seeking a Senior Architect to join an established and growing residential design-build team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead architectural design, collaborate with talented professionals, and make a meaningful impact on high-quality remodeling projects throughout the Chicagoland area. In this role as the Senior Architect, you will lead the architectural design and drafting process for residential remodeling and renovation projects, collaborating with clients, designers, estimators, and construction professionals to deliver exceptional results. Meet with homeowners to understand their goals, project vision, and budget.Present design concepts, review plans, and incorporate client feedback throughout the design process.Provide exceptional communication and guidance from initial consultation through project completion. Bachelor's degree in Architecture (minimum four-year Architecture degree required).Minimum of 7 years of architectural drafting experience, with a strong emphasis on residential remodeling and renovation.Experience with Revit and/or Chief Architect.Strong understanding of residential construction methods, detailing, and building codes.Experience meeting directly with clients and collaborating with internal project teams.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects while staying organized and focused.
