We are seeking a Senior Architect who shares our passion for design excellence and meaningful impact. This role is ideal for a creative leader who excels at developing strong design concepts, collaborating across disciplines, and guiding teams toward exceptional project outcomes.

As Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the realization of our clients' visions, while also pushing the boundaries of design and sustainability coupled with functionality. Experience with commercial architecture- corporate office, government, educational, healthcare and ground-up construction projects is required.

Responsibilities:

Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projectsEstablish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct work sessions at project site in conjunction with project team and other disciplinesCoordinate workload of internal team members through completion of documents on scheduleReview architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesLeads a small team of less senior designer or technicians in developing solutions to technical and design detail problems following established standards.Perform QA/QC and technical reviews for other team membersProvide construction administrationSupports the marketing and business development activitiesPerform other duties as needed 

Qualifications

Master's degree in Architecture.Active Architectural License in California is mandatory.NCARB registration preferred.Minimum of 10 years of relevant commercial architectural experience.Proficiency industry-standard design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong understanding of U.S. building codes, construction types, and permitting processesMust have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specificationsStrong knowledge of codes and good planning skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders.Located near Long Beach, California or planning to relocate before starting work.

Other:

Travel may be required.Overtime may be required.

Compensation:

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications and education . The reasonably expected salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000. Other compensation include a discretionary annual bonus.
