Senior Architect

We are seeking an experienced full time Sr. You will bring clarity and focus to clients as your designs capture and express a feeling that they have found difficult to articulate. Architect works with the Principal to lead out in the conceptual design process as they direct and review the work of a team of designers. Bachelor’s degree in architecture (master’s degree and/or licensure is a plus)8+ years of experience designing classical projects (4+ years designing classical residences)4+ years leading a team of designers.Highly experienced in capturing the project program along with the emotional intent of clientsExceptional hand-rendering skillsVery experienced in site placementVery experienced in design developmentVery experienced in redlining CDs (site, demo, floor plans, elevations & sections, reflected ceiling, finish schedules, interior elevations, schedule plans, design details, structural drawings, electrical drawings, and specifications).Experience in 3D modeling (Sketchup, Revit or Chief Architect) a big plusExperienced in preparing and delivering conceptual presentations to clientsExperienced in residential building code requirementsExperienced in residential construction, installation methods and construction materials & finishes (residential construction experience a plus). Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
