Senior Architect - Aerospace & Industrial (Florida Region)

Lead architectural design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.Develop, modify, and review production drawings for healthcare facilities, airports, educational institutions, and governmental and military facilities.Participate in development of project schedule, scope, budget staffing planning and construction planning. Writes specifications.Applies knowledge and experience to complex projects, find's/develops non-standard design solutions.Quality review production drawings for a variety of projects and project related data as required by the project managers to verify design compliance with project, client, and industry standards, including constructability.Quality review the construction administration including coordination with field personnel to resolve design related installation issues, calculations, field inspections and testing of materials.Leads field inspections, installation, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications.Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities. Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.Responsible for effective communication with other architectural teams.Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policiesProvide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff.Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards Bachelor Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program and 8 years related experienceMaster Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited program and 7 years related experienceMinimum eight years of architectural experience preferred.Registered architect preferred.Portfolio demonstrating design and graphic presentation skills is preferred.Expert knowledge of standard architectural concepts, including building codes, ADA standards, exterior envelope design, technical detailing, and specification writing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a problem-solving environment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.Expert software and computer skills preferred, including BIM (Revit), Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software.Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, and organization.Experience in leading design teams for large, complex projects, delegating tasks, and guiding internal and client groups towards successful design outcomes.Ability to conduct detailed quality reviews of architectural documents.Experience with construction phase activities, including site visits, shop drawing review, and correspondence with contractors and client.Ability to travel.Registered Architect Preferred Job Architecture
