The Senior Architect manages, oversees, and supervises the design, construction, and related architectural functions for the development and delivery of large scale Capital Improvement projects for the City. 3 Manages construction and implementation process on both renovation and new construction projects; coordinates and issues construction documents for public bid process; manages City of Dallas approval process for award of construction contract, construction scope, schedule, and budget in partnership with design consultants. 9 Attends and conducts training seminars and other meetings to ensure continuing education is obtained and all licensing requirements are up to date for Architects performing work in the City. 2 Knowledge of the building and construction process The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.
