This role is ideal for a design- and technically-strong leader who enjoys guiding teams, shaping project vision, and contributing to a collaborative, design-focused studio culture. About VCBO Lead design, technical direction, and documentation for complex architectural projects Contribute to and uphold principles of classical architecture, proportion, materiality, and detailing where appropriate Mentor and guide interdisciplinary teams, supporting both design excellence and technical rigor Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and internal staff to align design vision, execution, and long-term goals Oversee quality and consistency from concept through construction, with careful attention to design intent Represent the firm in presentations and stakeholder meetings, fostering trust-based client relationships Contribute to firmwide design standards, technical initiatives, and best practices
