Your Opportunity + Impact The Senior Architect for Federal Projects is a pivotal role that provides design leadership and technical expertise for complex federal projects from conception through to completion. Lead the planning and architectural design aspects of complex federal projects, showcasing advanced technical expertise and the ability to manage sophisticated design challenges independently.Review, coordinate, and refine the work produced by project team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal design standards and project objectives.Prepare and oversee the development of detailed construction documents that fulfill federal requirements with an emphasis on constructability, security, and long-term performance.Utilize expert knowledge of federal, state, and local architectural codes, standards, and regulations to resolve design issues and ensure regulatory compliance.Engage closely with internal disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination across all phases of federal project delivery.Conduct final QA/QC reviews to verify that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and federal client requirements prior to submission.Assist project managers and technical leaders in proposal development, scope definition, and labor-hour estimating, providing technical insight aligned with federal procurement processes.Act as the primary liaison for federal clients, working directly with agencies and project teams to clarify, communicate, and refine project scope, while translating client objectives into successful design solutions.Mentor and guide architectural staff, fostering professional development, technical excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement.Education and Experience
