As a leading design/build engineering firm and general contractor, Dennis Group is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to support our industrial architectural practice. You will play a pivotal role in designing and building cutting-edge food and beverage processing facilities. Our projects are multifaceted and demand close collaboration with project managers, process designers, and various engineering teams. Your expertise will be essential throughout all phases of architectural design and facility programming, ensuring that spaces meet both functionality and aesthetic needs, from proposal development to construction administration.

As a Senior Architect, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Developing programming and concept documentation tailored to our clients' requirements and budget.Collaborating with the Project Manager to establish project budgets, schedules, and comprehensive work plans.Conducting analysis of applicable agency reviews for codes, zoning, accessibility, life-safety, and more.Executing design tasks, including site and building planning studies, elevation studies, functional space layouts, and architectural details.Producing schematic designs, development documents, and construction documentation while negotiating solutions with the project team.Leading the project team across all disciplines to ensure alignment in document coordination, encompassing design drawings, construction documentation, and specifications.Contributing to the enhancement of office architectural standards and production tools.Managing construction administration tasks, including RFIs, RFPs, change orders, and conducting on-site observations.Maintaining strong communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.Engaging in marketing initiatives and presenting our capabilities to prospective clients.About You

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture.10+ years of professional experience in all phases of architectural projects.Architectural license is preferred, with LEED accreditation being a significant advantage.Demonstrated experience in commercial and industrial projects.Familiarity with building codes, specifications, and building systems.Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit is a plus.Advanced skills in project phases, including construction documentation review.Comprehension of project management principles.Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication abilities.A professional and collaborative work ethic.Candidates should be open to overnight travel, approximately 25% each year, to client facilities and construction sites.
