Senior Architect | Mixed-Use & Multifamily Development

Job Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Architect who wants more than a traditional architecture role.

You’ll work directly with ownership and the development team, influence major decisions from site planning and early design through construction, and see your ideas carried through to the communities we ultimately own and operate.

This role is ideal for an architect who wants greater creative influence, more ownership over projects, and less separation between design and the decisions that actually determine what gets built. You’ll lead exciting multifamily, mixed-use, retail, and transit-oriented projects while helping shape the design standards and direction of a growing development platform.

Duties

Lead projects from concept through construction, including planning, design, CDs, permitting, and construction administration.
Work directly with our team and/or consultants on major design, planning, technical, and constructability decisions.
Lead and coordinate structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and other consultants.
Produce and oversee high-quality drawings and documentation in Revit and AutoCAD.
Guide permitting, code compliance, RFIs, submittals, field coordination, and QA/QC.
Balance great design with constructability, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications

Proven experience in architectural design with a focus on multifamily, mixed-use, retail, and/or urban development.
4–15 years of architectural experience.
Strong experience with multifamily, mixed-use, retail, or urban development.
Experience with podium multifamily and mixed-use construction is highly valued.
Strong construction documentation, detailing, code, and consultant-coordination skills.
Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Ability to lead projects and solve complex design and construction challenges.
Architecture degree required; licensure preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dallas, TX 75231
