Position Summary

Fitzgerald Collaborative Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Architect / Project Architect to support the planning, design, and execution of large, complex architectural projects. This position plays a key role in technical design leadership, applying advanced architectural concepts while collaborating closely with project teams and clients. The ideal candidate demonstrates independent judgment, technical excellence, and a commitment to design solutions that respond thoughtfully to client needs.

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
Minimum of six (6) years of professional architectural experience
Licensure as a Registered Architect preferred
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and technical detailing
Proven experience working on large, complex projects
Ability to independently apply advanced architectural principles and design solutions
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage specific technical design aspects of major architectural projects
Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions that best meet client requirements
Provide professional architectural consultation throughout planning, design, and coordination phases
Independently execute complex or novel assignments, including development of new or improved design techniques and procedures
Coordinate architectural work with consultants and internal project teams
Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable codes and standards
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff as needed
