The Senior Architect (RA) Team Lead is responsible for managing both the architectural design and the project team. Lead and manage the design process for architectural projects, ensuring that design solutions meet client needs, budget constraints, and technical requirementsProvide technical leadership to project teams, reviewing and approving construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and qualityOversee the integration of various building systems into the architectural design, coordinating with consultants to ensure the seamless execution of technical solutionsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that client expectations are met through effective communication and project managementMentor and supervise junior architects and designers, guiding design challenges, technical issues, and professional developmentManage project schedules and budgets, working closely with project managers to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within financial constraintsEnsure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any regulatory issues that ariseConduct quality control reviews at key stages of the design and construction process, ensuring that all deliverables meet both internal standards and client requirementsLead construction administration activities, including site visits, reviewing submittals, and addressing technical questions during constructionSupport business development efforts by participating in proposal writing, presentations, and client meetings, showcasing the firm’s expertise and project experienceRepresent the firm in industry events, conferences, and client meetings, building relationships and expanding the firm’s presence in the marketEnsure that project closeout activities, such as punch list resolution and post-occupancy evaluations, are completed successfullyQualifications Licensed Architect (RA)Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture8 -10 years of experience in an architectural role2+ years of experience in a leadership rolePreferred
