Your key responsibilities will include: Leading construction oversight, inspections, and quality assurance activities.Providing technical reviews of design documents, submittals, and change orders.Monitoring project schedule, costs, and progress while recommending corrective actions as needed.Preparing progress reports, inspection reports, and other documentation.Coordinating effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and government representatives.Supporting budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking of all project activities.Leading meetings, preparing minutes, and managing project communication logs.Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (VA, FAR, NFPA, OSHA).Mentoring team members and providing senior-level technical guidance.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management; or 14 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.A valid Architect or Engineer license in the State of Florida.At least 10 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.Experience with chiller utility plants in federal or healthcare settings is preferred.Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and cost management.Demonstrated understanding of VA standards, FAR, NFPA, and OSHA requirements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Why Join Planate?
