Candidates should have interest in low carbon net-zero construction for affordable housing, higher-ed, and civic building design. They can expect to be involved in all aspects of project delivery, from schematic design through construction administration. Applicants should have the ability and interest in working directly with clients.Position Overview Designs and document projects in all phases, from early concept development through schematic, design development, and construction documentation.Manages, mentors, and supports emerging professionals.Responsible for quality deliverables including coordinated plans and specifications. (including consultant disciplines), and elegant details, while ensuring document quality and completeness.Leads coordination meetings with internal design team, consultants, and clients.Understands and coordinates engineering systems relevant to projects.Performs construction administration duties, or oversees the CA process ensuring accurate responses to RFIs, reviewed shop drawing/submittals, and effectively-managed change orders.QualificationsApplicants must hold a current architectural license10+ years of experience working in a professional officeDemonstrated commitment to design excellenceLEED or Passive House Consultant Certification (preferred)Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, ExcelA working knowledge of Sketchup, Rhino, BluebeamPassion for building science and sustainable technologies in the context of design excellence.Understanding of construction methods, building code, and zoning principles#J-18808-Ljbffr
