At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. Assists in the development of the design documentation for the following design phases: master planning, schematic, preliminary, and construction documentation.Assists more senior department personnel and Architectural Designers I&II with design solutions by having the ability to interpret drawing mark-up drawings and execute changes on the project based on such mark-ups.Uses Revit to develop architectural design documentation that aligns with company BIM/CAD standards.Reviews drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.Ability to work as a team member and capable of interpreting the Project Architect's design requests.Proactively alerting team members of a project design change that may affect the time and costs of the project.Keeps the Project Team aware of workload and requests work when needed.Works with equipment suppliers/vendors to obtain the necessary information needed for design completion.Interacts with clients on a limited basis to secure scope and design intent.Ensure acceptable levels of quality and checks for coordination of work to assure documents reflect design intent and necessary coordination.Participate in architectural design work, coordinating with related engineering disciplines.Supports field visits and site surveys when accompanied by more senior departmental personnel.Capable of creating renderings, generating diagrams, and special projects as assigned. This position will have 5-20% travel, or as required by the assigned project. Position may be assigned to the client site for an extended period.Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client’s location is possible, depending on the assignment.Please review the IPS Travel Policy.Position will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.Must have access to reliable transportation.Must have the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis. This position is a safety-sensitive position.The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas.
