Senior Architectural Designer - Hospitality Focus

Our client, a renowned architectural firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architectural Designer to lead innovative projects within the hospitality sector. Responsibilities:
Lead the design process from conceptualization through to construction documentation, ensuring alignment with client briefs and project objectives. Develop innovative design concepts, sketches, renderings, and 3D models for hospitality projects. Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal project teams to define design direction and ensure project success. Prepare and present design proposals, presentations, and reports to clients and stakeholders. Oversee the development of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for potential projects. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards. Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative studio environment. Manage project timelines and deliverables related to the design phase. Stay abreast of emerging architectural trends, materials, and technologies in the hospitality industry. Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers throughout the design development. Perform construction administration duties as needed, including site visits and responding to RFIs. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a significant portfolio focused on hospitality projects. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methodologies. Excellent conceptual design, visualization, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to lead design teams and manage multiple projects concurrently. Experience in client interaction and negotiation. NCARB certification and eligibility for architectural licensure in Nevada is highly desirable. Passion for design excellence and a keen eye for detail.
