A globally recognized architecture practice with a strong portfolio of large-scale, complex projects is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join its New York studio. The studio is hiring across a number of project sectors, reflecting a strong pipeline of work and continued growth across the practice. Develop and advance design concepts across a variety of project types, contributing to site planning, master planning, and architectural design initiativesProduce high-quality visual presentations, diagrams, renderings, models, and design narratives to communicate ideas to clients and project teamsCreate and develop 3D models, feasibility studies, and architectural documentation packages with technical drawingsSupport project delivery through design coordination, technical research, zoning and code analysis and specification reviewAssist with construction administration activities, including reviewing RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and conducting periodic site visitsCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to maintain design quality and project objectives throughout all phasesMentor and support junior team members while contributing to a positive and collaborative studio culturePresent design concepts, project updates, and design strategies to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.10+ years of professional architectural experience, ideally on large-scale or complex projectsUnderstanding of project coordination, technical documentation, and design delivery processesStrong ability to generate and develop design concepts, supported by excellent visual, verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and present design ideas to internal teams and external stakeholders, clients and consultantsExperience navigating planning constraints, zoning requirements, and regulatory considerations throughout the design processProficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; exposure to parametric design tools such as Grasshopper is beneficialSolid understanding of project delivery, including design coordination, documentation development, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teamsProfessional licensure, LEED accreditation, and Construction Administration experience are advantageous
