Role Description

Markle + Diaz Architects is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Project Manager to take ownership of multiple residential and commercial projects from kickoff through permitting and construction coordination.

This is a full-time role for someone based in Central Florida who is comfortable working independently in a primarily remote environment. Regular site visits throughout the Orlando/Central Florida area are required.

The Senior Architectural Project Manager will manage project schedules, budgets, hours, and deadlines; coordinate structural, MEP, civil, and other consultants; lead client and consultant communication; conduct existing-condition and construction site visits; manage permit submissions and AHJ responses; and perform technical drawing reviews before principal/AOR QA/QC.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience managing residential and commercial architectural projects.Strong project management, scheduling, budgeting, and organizational skills.Experience coordinating architectural staff/drafters and multidisciplinary consultants.Strong understanding of construction documents, permitting, and construction administration.Ability to review field conditions and help resolve construction issues.Strong client and consultant communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects independently and keep principals informed without requiring day-to-day oversight.Strong technical drawing review and QA/QC skills.Experience working with AHJs and responding to permit comments.Based in Central Florida and available for regular site visits throughout the Orlando area.
