Senior Associate Landscape Architect

An established design-led practice is seeking a Senior Associate Landscape Architect to join its growing Atlanta studio. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take on a leadership role within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in project delivery, client management, business development, and team mentorship while helping shape the future growth of the studio.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from concept through construction administration.Oversee project teams, ensuring high-quality design solutions and successful project delivery.Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, presentations, networking, and pursuit strategies.Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative and creative studio culture.Coordinate effectively with planners, architects, engineers, and other consultants.Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and resource allocation.Contribute to design excellence through innovative thinking and a strong understanding of placemaking principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.Professional Landscape Architect licensure preferred.Demonstrated experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.Proven ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other industry-standard design software.
