The Senior Director of Principal Solutions Architecture is a pivotal leadership position that merges expert hands-on delivery responsibilities with strategic executive-level insights. This individual acts as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the entire solution lifecycle—from pre-sales engagement to successful implementation—while ensuring technical excellence, client satisfaction, and improved business outcomes.

Client Leadership & Solution Strategy

Serve as a strategic advisor, aligning technical solutions with your clients' business goals and long-term strategies.

Lead the design of solutions for complex, enterprise-scale projects across various industries.

Ensure all solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and align with the overall technical strategy.

Act as the main technical liaison for your assigned clients.

Pre-Sales & Solution Development

Drive technical pre-sales efforts, including conducting needs assessments, framing solutions, and crafting proposals.

Oversee scoping, costing, and estimation for large, intricate opportunities.

Review and validate solutions to ensure technical robustness, feasibility, and compliance with standards.

Deliver engaging technical presentations tailored to the needs of diverse stakeholder audiences.

Delivery & Implementation Oversight

Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation, fostering continuity and success.

Provide leadership and oversight throughout the implementation phase.

Guarantee solutions are scalable, optimized, and yield substantial client benefits.

Drive the successful adoption and ongoing value realization of solutions within client settings.

Develop and promote technical best practices, frameworks, and reusable resources.

Core Competencies

Proven expertise in enterprise solution architecture and design for complex systems.

In-depth understanding of identity resolution techniques (deterministic and probabilistic matching, online/offline stitching).

Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.

Solid knowledge of AI/ML concepts in relation to large-scale data processing and analytics.

Experience in designing real-time data architectures and Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Customer 360).

Strong business insight that allows for effective communication of technical value to non-technical stakeholders.

Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications (Required)

10+ years of combined experience in technical pre-sales and solution implementation.

10+ years of experience in client-facing roles with executive-level interactions.

5+ years of experience in data-driven marketing contexts (including database, direct, or digital marketing).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Expertise in non-cloud to cloud migration strategies.

Experience with data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks.

Knowledge of clean room technologies.

Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP / Customer 360).

Experience with real-time data processing architectures.

Knowledge of AI/ML-enabled analytics solutions.
