Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior DSP Architect to lead the design and development of signal processing architectures and algorithms for next-generation physical layer/mixed-signal SoCs. This role is central to creating high-performance, power- and area-efficient DSP solutions for advanced automotive transceivers. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across system, hardware, and software to deliver high-speed, reliable, and scalable communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

DSP Architecture Design

Define system-level requirements and performance metrics for automotive communication DSP systemsArchitect and drive the development of signal processing hardware and algorithmsAlgorithm Development

Design, implement, and optimize signal processing algorithms (e.g., equalization, noise reduction, filtering) for real-time, power-sensitive applicationsEnsure algorithms meet automotive reliability and safety standardsModeling, Simulation & Validation

Develop models using MATLAB, Simulink, or C++ for performance analysisSimulate and validate DSP algorithms in both pre- and post-silicon phasesCollaborate with validation and test teams to ensure algorithm correctness and robustnessCross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with hardware engineers, software developers, and systems teams for seamless DSP integrationContribute to architecture discussions and trade-off analyses across disciplines

Qualifications:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field5+ years of experience in DSP architecture and algorithm design for high-performance, low-power systemsStrong expertise in digital signal processing theory and implementationProficiency with DSP modeling tools (MATLAB, Simulink, C++)Demonstrated experience delivering efficient algorithms in commercial semiconductor productsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make decisions with incomplete dataExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProactive and adaptable mindset with a willingness to go beyond core responsibilities

Preferred Additional Qualification (any):

Familiarity with Ethernet physical layer transceiversKnowledge of ASIC/VLSI design and implementationExperience across multiple full ASIC design and NPI cyclesProficiency in Python for scripting and automationUnderstanding of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262)

Compensation

Base salary range: $180,000 – $220,000 USDThe actual starting base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. This range may be adjusted based on market conditions.
