Marshall Craft is seeking a Senior Healthcare Architect / Healthcare Project Architect to help lead and grow our healthcare work in the Mid-Atlantic region. Lead healthcare projects through planning, design, documentation, coordination, and construction administration.Work closely with clients, users, and stakeholders to understand operational goals, clinical workflows, patient experience, and project priorities.Develop thoughtful, technically sound design solutions that support healthcare delivery, code compliance, functionality, durability, and long-term flexibility.Coordinate architectural work with consultants, medical equipment planners, contractors, regulatory reviewers, and internal team members.Prepare, oversee, and review drawings, specifications, presentations, reports, and other project deliverables for quality, coordination, constructability, and alignment with client expectations.Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing needs, and deliverables in collaboration with firm leadership.Participate in client meetings, design reviews, user group sessions, project presentations, and construction-phase coordination.Mentor less-experienced staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture focused on learning, accountability, and design excellence.Support business development efforts through proposals, interviews, client relationship management, and project pursuits. B. Arch or M. Arch degree from an accredited program.Proficiency in Revit is required.Licensed architect preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered.8+ years of professional architectural experience, with meaningful experience in healthcare design.Strong understanding of healthcare planning, clinical workflows, building codes, accessibility requirements, life safety, and applicable healthcare guidelines and regulations.Experience leading projects from programming and conceptual design through construction documents and construction administration.Strong technical knowledge of building systems, detailing, documentation, and consultant coordination.Ability to manage client relationships, lead user group meetings, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.Experience coordinating with engineering consultants, contractors, medical equipment planners, and regulatory reviewers.Familiarity with FGI Guidelines, infection control coordination, phased renovations, ambulatory care, behavioral health, or hospital-based work is a plus.Strong organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills.Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and other design/documentation tools is a plus.
