Senior Healthcare Planner / Architect

This position offers a unique opportunity to immediately contribute to a large, complex healthcare project currently in design while helping shape the future growth of MHTN's healthcare practice. The ideal candidate brings expertise in healthcare planning, regulatory requirements, facility operations, and clinical workflow analysis and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex healthcare design challenges. Lead healthcare planning and programming efforts for hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, outpatient and inpatient care environments, and other healthcare facilitiesCollaborate with user groups, facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and planning workshops with healthcare clientsDevelop functional programs, space allocations, departmental relationships, and planning conceptsInterpreting healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and applicable codesCollaborate and innovate with architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants throughout all project phasesConduct operational assessments, facility evaluations, and strategic planning studiesMentor team members and contribute to the continued growth and technical excellence of MHTN's healthcare practiceParticipate in client presentations, project pursuits, interviews, and healthcare business development efforts Expertise in healthcare programming, planning, clinical workflow analysis, and the development of functional programs and planning concepts for complex healthcare facilitiesComprehensive knowledge of healthcare codes, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, FGI Guidelines, life safety requirements, and healthcare building systemsStrong understanding of healthcare delivery models, clinical operations, and healthcare planning best practicesExceptional facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship skillsExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilitiesAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across project stakeholdersStrategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsProficiency in Revit and BIM workflows; experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of the local and regional healthcare market We demonstrate our commitment to our team members by offering the following benefits.
