Senior IT Architect

Job DescriptionNYCERS IT Division is seeking a Senior ETL Engineer/Architect to join our IT Data Management unit in the Information Technology division. The Sr. ETL Engineer/Architect will support various enterprise data integration initiatives directly supporting NYCERS’ strategic priorities, including ongoing modernization initiatives, strengthened data governance and improved system resiliency. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-wide ETL solutions that enable reliable and scalable data integrations across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in data architecture, data migration, data integration, Master Data Management (MDM), and predictive analytics. In this capacity, the Senior ETL Architect/Engineer will: Key Responsibilities - Translate intricate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, encompassing data access patterns, data streams, integrations, transformations, and robust data modeling and database design - Design, Develop and implement ETL Solutions using IBM DataStage and SSIS - Design and Develop reusable ETL Job templates using IBM DataStage - Provide End-To-End Automated ETL solutions using DataStage ETL tool - Create Logical and Physical Data Models using IBM Data Architect - Provide comprehensive support and input to the NYCERS Data Governance process - Build Data Extracts from Salesforce using SOQL, DataStage and SSIS - Develop strategy and build processes to maintain data integrity during/post migration from NYCERS legacy to target LRP system - Build and maintain Control-M workflows for batch processing, dependency management, and SLA compliance - Design, develop and support automated data conversion validation process.
