Senior Job Captain / Project Architect with OSHPD 3 / HCAI healthcare experience

Pho Architects, Inc. is a San Francisco Bay Area architecture and interior design firm specializing in custom residential, commercial, and healthcare projects. We are a small, collaborative practice that values thoughtful contemporary design, strong technical execution, and personal ownership of projects.

We are seeking a Senior Job Captain / Project Architect with 5+ years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable independently managing the technical development and delivery of projects. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the firm, contribute to how we work, and help build the next phase of Pho Architects together.

Responsibilities

· Develop and coordinate projects from design through construction administration

· Produce and manage Revit construction documents

· Provide day-to-day project management and communicate directly with clients

· Coordinate consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies

· Perform code research and assist with project approvals

· Review submittals, RFIs, and construction issues

· Maintain project schedules, deliverables, and project priorities

· Take ownership of assigned projects with Principal oversight

· Contribute to the continued growth, culture, and development of the firm

Qualifications

· 5+ years of professional architectural experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

· Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills

· Experience with OSHPD 3 / HCAI healthcare projects

· Experience communicating with clients and coordinating project teams

· Strong communication, organization, and technical detailing skills

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

· Interest in taking on increasing project leadership and helping grow the firm

Compensation & Benefits

· Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience
