Senior K12 Architect

Our client is looking for a dynamic Senior K-12 Architect to lead their Minnesota education design team. They have built a strong reputation as trusted advisors to school districts, handling everything from new construction and major additions to facilities upgrades and safety enhancements. Lead project development from concept through construction with a collaborative design team Direct teams in creating and executing construction documents Mentor entry-level architects in design, production, and technical coordination Attend project and client meetings as the primary design professional Grow into senior leadership responsibilities within the practice Apply strong technical design and detailing expertise across all project phases Required: Minnesota state architecture license (or eligible for reciprocity) 10+ years of experience in a design firm 5+ years of K-12 design experience Strong design, construction documentation, and construction administration background Comprehensive knowledge of architectural specifications, building codes, life safety codes, and ADA requirements Self-motivated with strong independent problem-solving abilities Comfort with remote work and local travel Exceptional communication and organizational skills Team-oriented approach Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, Procore, SketchUp, and similar design/construction software Genuine passion for architecture
