We are seeking an elite Senior Microsoft Fabric Architect to act as the primary technical authority for an enterprise-level data platform assessment. In this role, you will lead the comprehensive evaluation of a client's legacy SQL Server/SSIS environment and audit their transition into a modern, real-time Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between legacy Microsoft data stacks and cutting-edge cloud architectures, bringing deep, hands-on experience in distributed PySpark streaming, Medallion design patterns, and enterprise semantic modeling.
Required Experience & Qualifications
15+ years of hands-on experience within the Microsoft Data Platform ecosystem (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI).4+ years of experience in Lakehouse Engineering (using Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, or Fabric).2+ years of direct, hands-on architectural experience with Microsoft Fabric (including early public preview and General Availability phases).Proven track record leading technical data assessments and authoring executive-level architectural deliverables for enterprise clients.
