What you’ll do

Shape the Platform Strategy

Lead the design and evolution of enterprise Atlassian Cloud platforms (Jira, JSM, Confluence)Define scalable, future-ready architecture aligned with business and IT prioritiesBe the key decision-maker balancing usability, scalability, and long-term sustainability

Drive Integration & Innovation

Architect integrations across critical enterprise systems (ITSM, ERP, HRIS, CI/CD, IAM)Define modern integration approaches (API-first, event-driven)Evaluate and implement tools that unlock new capabilities across the ecosystem

Build Governance that Scales

Establish standards for workflows, automation, permissions, and structuresCreate reusable patterns that empower teams while maintaining consistencyEnable growth without compromising platform integrity

Optimize & Transform

Lead platform optimization, automation, and efficiency initiativesDrive large-scale transformations like cloud migrations and consolidationsImprove how teams collaborate, deliver, and measure success

Lead & Influence

Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical leadersGuide stakeholders through complex decisions and trade-offsBring clarity to ambiguity in fast-moving environments

What you bring

7+ years of experience with Atlassian platforms (Jira Cloud focus)Strong background in platform architecture, integrations, and enterprise systemsExperience working in complex, multi-team or consulting environmentsAbility to turn complex requirements into simple, scalable solutionsStrong communication skills, you can influence both technical and business audiences

Nice to have

Atlassian certifications (ACP)Experience with Agile at scale or ITSM frameworksBackground in large enterprise or regulated environments

This is a flexible hybrid role, we encourage candidates based in or near Detroit, Reston, San Jose, or Atlanta to apply.

Compensation

$110,000 – $180,000 annual (based on experience)

Work Authorization

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
