Senior POS Functional Architect(Phoenix AZ)

Dear Candidate,

We are currently seeking a Senior POS Functional Architect/Lead based in Phoenix, AZ. This role is available on a C2C or W2 basis. Please note that extensive experience with GK POS is required for this position.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will lead functional analysis and solution design for enterprise POS initiatives, driving the architectural vision and roadmap. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements and designing scalable solutions that integrate with payment gateways, inventory, CRM, ERP, and omni-channel systems. A core focus of this role involves hands-on work with GK Retail Store Commerce modules, including configuration, integration, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, upgrades, and rollouts of GK POS systems.
- Collaborate with retail operations, merchandising, and IT stakeholders.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications (F-Specs), business process flows, and user stories.
- Lead root cause analysis, resolve technical issues, and mentor team members on POS best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in POS systems and retail operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in GK POS / GK Retail Store Commerce.
- Strong proficiency in payment processing, transactional data management, and retail workflows.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and lead large-scale retail transformation programs.

Preferred Skills:
- Direct experience managing GK POS migration or modernization projects.
- In-depth knowledge of omni-channel retail operations.
- Proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies and functional architecture.
