Key Initiatives:Incorporate generative and predictive AI to boost operational efficiency and integrate automation seamlessly across enterprises.Design and architect scalable and resilient automation platforms for dynamic workloads.Develop secure APIs for enhanced integration with batch processes, DevOps ecosystems, and observability platforms.Streamline deployment strategies compatible with modern containerization technologies.Deliver comprehensive solutions that automate workflows across the entire hybrid enterprise stack.Your Responsibilities:Craft and maintain the architecture of automation solutions that meet current and future customer needs.Oversee requirements and backlog to align with our key vision and product direction.Evaluate and recommend essential functions and value streams for future use cases, focusing on:Competitive differentiation and market leadership.Strategic build vs. buy decisions.Lead efforts to assess and resolve technical debt.Seek and advocate for automation integration across Rocket and partner ecosystems.Qualifications:10+ years of experience in software engineering/product roles, with 5+ years in senior technical leadership.Strong understanding of automation technologies and DevOps practices.Experience in architecting robust platforms for hybrid cloud and mainframe environments.Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, Go, etc.) and API design.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.Familiarity with observability tools and security practices.Ability to define technical vision and roadmap for large-scale enterprise solutions.Experience mentoring engineering teams while contributing technically.Excellent collaboration skills with diverse teams (Product Management, Sales, Customer Engineering).Expert in enterprise workload automation and business process integration.Knowledge of AI/ML for predictive and generative automation applications.Exceptional communication skills for engaging with customers and stakeholders.Capable of working in a global, distributed development setting.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.What We Offer:Unlimited vacation along with paid holidays and sick leave.Health and wellness coverage for you and your dependents.Life and disability insurance.Fidelity 401(k) and Roth retirement savings plans with matching contributions.Monthly student debt repayment benefits.Opportunities for tuition and certification reimbursement.Access to leadership and skill training programs.Annual salary range for this position is between $124,500.00 and $168,075.00 before taxes.
