Senior Project Architect

As our Senior Project Architect, you’ll lead complex industrial, commercial and tenant improvement projects from concept through construction documents and closeout, delivering code-compliant buildable designs that exceed customer expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with our design, operations and consultant teams to deliver thoughtful, efficient and high-performing buildings and interiors.

Key Responsibilities

The list below is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. This professional in this role will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the position's changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

Lead the design and documentation process for multiple commercial and industrial projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable codes and standards (IBC, ADA, energy codes, etc.). Coordinate architectural, civil, landscape, structural, MEP, and other consultants to produce fully integrated design documents. Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and detailing in Revit with VDC integration. Participate in design-build project delivery processes, collaborating with preconstruction and engineering teams to align design scope with budget goals. Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide construction administration support throughout the construction process. Conduct site visits for design verification and progress reviews. Manage project schedules, deliverable timelines, and permit submissions with local jurisdictions. Engage with customers and stakeholders to present design concepts and resolve technical issues. Research materials, systems, and code requirements to support design solutions and compliance. Mentor design staff and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and workflows. Assist Marketing & Business Development efforts with the development of preliminary plans, renderings, or site logistics plans. Qualifications

Licensed Architect, NCARB reciprocity or on track for licensure. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or technical college, or 8+ years of relevant architectural experience (or combination thereof), including design and technical documentation for commercial and industrial projects. Strong understanding of building codes, construction detailing, and coordination requirements. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM 360 Experience with VDC processes is a plus Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment. Knowledge of design-build delivery method.
