Senior Project Architect

OOMBRA Architects is hiring.

We are looking for a Senior Project Architect / Technical Lead with 10+ years of experience to join our Philadelphia studio.

This is a key role for someone who enjoys design-forward work, has strong graphic sensibilities, and brings rigor and care to technical execution: Revit modeling, construction documents, detailing, wall sections, envelope coordination, consultant coordination, code/accessibility, permitting and construction administration.

OOMBRA is a small, collaborative architecture practice working across mixed-use, multifamily, affordable housing, adaptive reuse, cultural/theater, planning and development-driven projects in Philadelphia, Detroit and the region.

We are especially interested in someone who can help strengthen our technical documentation, quality control, construction-phase capacity and office standards while contributing to the design culture of the studio.

Ideal experience:

-10+ years in an architecture office

-Licensed architect preferred, but not required for the right candidate

-Strong Revit, construction document, and detailing skills

-Construction administration and consultant coordination experience

-Good graphic sensibilities and clear visual communication

-A strong sense of rigor, craft, curiosity, and care

-Ability to independently carry technical coordination, drawing production and QA/QC

-Multifamily, mixed-use, adaptive reuse, affordable housing or cultural project experience is a plus

-Interest in mentoring younger staff and helping improve office standards
