The Senior Project Architect will play a crucial role in comprehensive project design, coordination, and construction management. Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate excellent collaborative skills while working effectively with project teams and contractors. Produce high-quality design and construction documents.Facilitate communication continually between clients and project teams.Senior-level architects may involve themselves in business development activities including attending meetings and events, developing responses to RFQ/P’s, and nurturing a professional network.Advance your professional goals while contributing to the firm’s thought leadership aligned with your work.Supervisory Responsibilities

Guide and mentor Emerging Professionals.

Required Qualifications and Experience

5 to 15 years of relevant experience.A professional degree in architecture is a must.Licensure as an architect is preferred; LEED® accreditation is a plus.Proficiency in Revit is required.Experience in designing and coordinating new constructions, expansions, and renovations.Strong understanding of design processes, construction documentation, construction administration, and materials.Preferred Skills and Experience

Exceptional communication skills for engaging with diverse clients and professionals.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Effective time management skills, especially in managing multiple projects.Location

This position is based in Portland, ME. You will be required to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional remote work on Monday and Friday.

Physical Demands

This role requires the capability to sit for extended periods, stand, bend, walk, communicate via telephone, computer, and face-to-face interaction, and utilize basic office equipment regularly. The work environment is open-office, and navigating construction job sites is essential.
