Responsibilities:

Provide design and delivery process leadership to the full design team and the client teamManage multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)Resolve complex technical and design issues with the team to produce innovative technical/constructable solutionsDirect production of drawings, specifications, and construction administration tasksResponsible for oversight and delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical qualityFacilitate the process for submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIInterface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the projectManage client expectations, team communication, and oversight of consultant coordinationQualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field (required)Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field (preferred)Licensed Architect with 10 plus years of professional experienceExperience in multi-family housing (preferred)Experience in managing multiple project typesKnowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniquesExperience in construction document preparation and field observationProficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other 3D modeling softwareLEED accreditation is a plusFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentExcellent written + verbal communication and client relationship management skillsWhy Moody Nolan?
