Senior Project Architect

Since then, we have designed and engineered numerous sports architecture icons including Yankee Stadium (1923), Fenway Park, Municipal Stadium, and Ohio Stadium just to name a few. Today our Sports practice focuses on the design of athletic facilities and entertainment venues. This key role will engage all areas of our practice including planning, programming, design & visualization, and lead the project’s technical development and documentation of their projects. Primary Responsibilities: Research code requirements and ensures feasibility of design solutions.Follows and manages project budget, work plan, consultants, and schedule.Communicates with Project Manager and other project architects regarding key deliverable dates.Creates design solutions to meet client specifications.Creates Project Manual and Specifications.Maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Team.Acts as an intermediary between the client and the architectural team.Promotes communication through team meetings, minutes, and up-date memos to project team including consultants.Ensures project documentation is in compliance with company standards.Coordinates team effort to complete a project promptly and successfully, while ensuring that the team is working effectively and keeping to the schedule and budget.Construction administration including processing of submittals, RFI’s, and other project documentation during construction.Provides office leadership including professional development coaching and mentoring staff.Consistently reviews work and communicate needs and concerns to project staff.Defines staff requirements for projects as needed or directed.All other duties and responsibilities as required.Travel and overtime may be expected.
