Anderson Hallas Architects is an award-winning Golden, Colorado based architectural firm, with a specialty in public sector work, currently recruiting a Senior Project Architect to join our creative, welcoming, and adventurous team. The firm is a collaborative, team-oriented practice with public sector projects ranging from libraries, courthouses, museums, visitor centers, city halls and similar community-based projects. The firm has a national portfolio of inspiring preservation/rehabilitation work supplemented by a unique portfolio of creative adaptive reuse and contemporary, ground-up construction projects, providing for an inspiring and interesting balance of project types.

Qualified Candidates Must Meet The Following Requirements

Professional degree in Architecture (5 yr. Bachelor or Master’s Degree required).Registered CO Architect (NCARB Certificate and a minimum of 5 years of licensure a Plus).Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience.Proficiency in relevant computer software:Revit Architecture (Strong Proficiency Required)Rendering: Lumion, Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign)SketchUpBluebeamStrong technical understanding of construction detailing requirements.Stellar communication skills (verbal, graphic, and written) and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.A variety of project experience in all phases of the architectural process from SD- CA.Experience editing project specifications (experience developing technical specifications with Deltek Specpoint is a plus).Current affiliation and/or membership in a local, state, or national industry organization(s) is a plus.Position will require an introductory in-office period and then may transition to a phased hybrid position (2 days remote), upon mutual agreement.

Essential Job responsibilities include assisting with design, managing the development of Contract Documents, plans and specifications, materials and methods research, code research assistance, coordinating the production schedule, while working closely with and supporting Project Managers and Principals.

Skills to Demonstrate: Clarity of communication, creativity in problem solving, critical thinking, organization, curiosity for great design and detailing, technical (architectural and computer) acumen, understanding of the project’s goals and a remarkable team player.
