Senior Project Architect

Spur Design is seeking a talented Senior Project Architect to take the lead in designing and delivering innovative and well-coordinated projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a firm dedicated to teamwork, creativity, and making a positive impact through thoughtful design. (Travel may be required)Prepare and oversee the creation of fully coordinated Construction documents that adhere to project specifications and regulatory standards while providing guidance to architectural designers and drafters.Stay informed on project developments through thorough review of all correspondence, meeting notes, and relevant data.Engage with clients as necessary, either independently or with a Project Manager.Contribute to quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) efforts for each project submission.Organize and track review comments to ensure effective integration into design documents and compliance with Spur Design standards.Assist in the development of BIM processes and internal drafting standards.Support office operations by maintaining systems for trade libraries and filing.Aid in marketing and business development initiatives.Work with the Project Architect to manage sub-consultants and team collaboration throughout all phases of production. 6-15 years of professional architectural experience (licensed).Registered Architect for at least 5 years.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture is required.NCARB certification is a plus.Expertise in BIM and CAD software.Proven ability to lead Construction document production.Present a portfolio showcasing completed designs.Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.Strong creative design skills coupled with the ability to generate innovative solutions.Excellent time management skills; adept at juggling multiple projects within tight timelines.Strong customer service and communication skills, facilitating collaboration between architectural teams and consultants.Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents.Ability to generate field reports for the team.Provide technical direction to interns and junior designers.Understanding of construction costs and timelines.Familiarity with zoning regulations and building codes.Advanced project management capabilities.High proficiency in BIM and CAD tools.Demonstrated ability to lead the production of comprehensive construction documents.
