About Us The Providence Architecture and Building Company is a boutique design‑build division of the Providence Group, a fast‑growing, design‑centered real estate development team committed to placemaking and creating housing at all price points. Firm leadership is deeply involved in the design process. Position Overview We are seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager with 15+ years of experience who is highly proficient in Revit and experienced in multifamily design. This role is heavily focused on modeling, unit layout, and space planning, with opportunities to lead smaller residential projects from concept through construction administration. Key Responsibilities Develop and refine multifamily unit layouts with a focus on efficiency, marketability, constructibility, and code compliance Build and manage detailed 3D Revit models using real construction assemblies within model for realistic takeoffs and preliminary pricing purposes Iterate quickly on layout revisions as project constraints evolve and financial models inform new decisions Produce parking layouts and site studies Strong role in zoning and code review Coordinate closely with in‑house construction team on pre‑construction items such as preliminary cost assessments, constructability reviews, MEP strategies, and project delivery strategies Lead small residential projects in full (e.g., single family & small multifamily) from design through construction administration Qualifications Required 15+ years of professional architectural experience Strong multifamily project experience Upscale single family experience Advanced proficiency in Revit Strong space planning skills Portfolio of residential spaces, both single family and multifamily designs Bachelor or Master of Architecture from NAAC accredited program Licensure to practice architecture required Ideal Candidate Pragmatic and solutions-oriented Comfortable working in a highly iterative design process Low ego, collaborative, and open to frequent feedback and direction Strong technical Revit modeler and detail-oriented Interested in how development, architecture, and construction come together Understands that real-world project constraints drive design decisions Willing to learn new development-centric constraints and how they play out as design decisions Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $120,000 – $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
