Senior Project Manager - Architecture

You’ll play a key role in ensuring project success while helping the department, division, and company achieve financial and strategic goals. Prepare effective work plans and labor budgets for approval by Department Manager.Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client as well as control work and productivity.Identify the project team, work packages and tasks, evaluation methods, productivity targets, schedule of deliverables and labor hours required on projects.Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, schedule of events and an estimation of staff requirements as necessary.Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors’ approval.Review monthly labor and cost reports to ensure projects are being completed at the predetermined profit goal.Ensure everyone involved is working in accordance with all project planning and profit control procedures.Ensure that all budgets affecting the project schedule and/or fee budget are discussed with the client. Previous business development and project management experience preferred in planning and executing design/construction projects.Ability to work in close collaboration with other managers and leadership, clients, in-house and outside consultants.Client facing experience.Ability to work primarily independently.Willing to travel occasionally to client sites and meetings.Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
