Role Description The Senior Residential Design Build Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for leading the design and documentation of high-end residential projects from concept through construction, including space planning, schematic and detailed design, and coordination with internal construction teams and fabricators. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, refining BIM models, managing project design timelines, and ensuring design intent is accurately translated into buildable solutions. The architect collaborates closely with clients to understand needs, present design options, and incorporate feedback, while maintaining alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards. The role also involves overseeing junior team members, contributing to material and systems selection, and supporting sustainable design strategies consistent with the firm’s ecological values.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design for contemporary residential projects.Demonstrated ability in Design Management, including leading design phases and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.Proficiency in preparing and reviewing detailed Construction Drawings and BIM-based documentation.Effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal construction staff.Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) and active licensure or licensure track in the United States.Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design and modeling tools (Revit, Lumion)Experience in design-build delivery, with a strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and building materials.Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to sustainable design principles and familiarity with energy-efficient and ecologically responsible building strategies.
