Senior ServiceNow Architect and Lead Developer

**Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Architect and Lead Developer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of critical functionality and solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role will require a strong technical background, leadership skills, and experience with ServiceNow architecture and implementation. **Responsibilities:** * Oversee and interface with developers to design, develop, test, and implement critical functionality and POCs * Work with clients to create strategies and frameworks * Architect and design application solutions * Guide developers and provide hands-on development support * Design software components from business requirements and document application functionality * Own end-to-end platform architecture across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, CMDB, and App Engine * Define and maintain technical standards, design patterns, and architectural guardrails * Translate business and ITSM/ITIL requirements into scalable ServiceNow solution designs * Review and approve solution designs, data models, integrations, and custom application architectures * Serve as the final technical escalation point for complex platform decisions * Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend adoption aligned with platform health and roadmap * Lead development of complex or high-risk components and build and support custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine **Qualifications:** * 7+ years of enterprise IT experience * 2+ years of ServiceNow architecture and implementation leadership experience * Proven success leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations and upgrades * Knowledge across ITOM, ITAM, SPM, GRC, and CMDB preferred * Strong proficiency in server-side and client-side JavaScript * ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and one or more ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field * Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree **Benefits:** As a Maximus employee, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Health insurance coverage * Life and disability insurance * Retirement savings plan * Paid holidays and paid time off * Annual salary range: $120,000 - $180,000, depending on job location, education, training, experience, and other factors
