This proactive delivery role includes low-level design, hands-on deployment of enterprise infrastructures, upgrade and migration services, and integrations with existing systems. Conduct low-level design and implementation work, including architecture analysis, design, system migration, and systems engineering.Design and implement:VMware VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation), both Brownfield and GreenfieldVMware VCF (Aria) AutomationAutomation and IaC technologies such as SaltStack, Terraform, or AnsibleProficiency in scripting languages and technologies like PowerShell, PowerCLI, and JavascriptServer virtualization & operations, vSAN, Storage, & SANDisaster recovery and VMware NSX for virtual networkingBackup & ransomware resiliency solutionsHyperconverged solutionsAct as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, ensuring successful outcomes.Collaborate with sales and presales teams to identify and close professional services opportunities.Provide configuration and upgrade services in customers' environments.Mentor other architects and consultants within the team, fostering professional development.Participate in pre-sales conversations, service engagement planning, and stay current with industry trends.Exhibit long-term strategic thinking related to our Infrastructure practice and customer engagement.Behaviors and Competencies Expertise in project oversight and completion, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.Strong skills in identifying, documenting, and managing technical project needs through stakeholder engagement.Ability to design, build, and maintain robust systems leveraging infrastructure efficiently.Expertise in coding and automation solutions across various scripting languages.Proficient in understanding various infrastructure components and orchestration tools.Experience in developing detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) and driving revenue through professional services.Extensive experience in large-scale IT projects including design, deployment, and configuration.Additional Requirements
