ResponsibilitiesDefine and govern end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale P&C insurance platforms and digital initiativesPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutionsDevelop architecture roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectivesLead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical governance processesProvide technology leadership throughout the software development lifecycleDesign solutions supporting policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, agency/broker portals, customer self-service, rating and pricing, and regulatory complianceModernize legacy insurance applications and integrate third-party insurance platformsArchitect customer-facing web and mobile applications and omnichannel experiencesEnsure high availability, security, performance, and scalabilityLead adoption of Microsoft Azure cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes deployment strategiesEvaluate and implement Generative AI use casesDrive API, microservices, and event-driven integration strategiesRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field10+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in Solution Architecture rolesProperty & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry experience requiredMust be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future, as a lawful permanent resident or US citizenProven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiativesExperience working with distributed Agile teamsStrong hands-on experience in Java-based full-stack developmentExperience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and React, Angular, or modern JavaScript frameworksExtensive experience with workflow and BPM platforms such as PegaExperience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practicesExperience with API-led architecture, enterprise integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or Azure Service BusExperience architecting mobile applications, customer self-service portals, agent/broker portals, and digital claims and policy servicing platformsExperience implementing Generative AI solutions using LLM-based applications, RAG, AI-powered chatbots and assistants, and intelligent document processingP&C insurance platform experience such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similarExperience with domain-driven design (DDD)Azure certifications and cloud architecture certificationsExperience with data and analytics platforms supporting insurance operationsStrong understanding of insurance security, compliance, and regulatory requirementsStrategic thinking and architecture leadershipStrong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation abilitiesProblem-solving and analytical mindsetAbility to influence executive and technical teamsMentorship and technical leadershipCore CompetenciesDemonstrates expertise in Solution Architecture for large-scale Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance platforms, with a strong focus on modernizing applications, integrating cloud-native technologies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
