ServiceNow Developer / Architect

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite 4 days/week) We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer / Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions. Define and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture aligned with business goals and industry best practicesDesign, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and platform enhancementsLead development efforts using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Flow Designer, and automation solutionsDesign and implement integrations using IntegrationHub, MID Servers, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and third-party systemsEstablish development standards, governance practices, and technical design guidelinesConduct code reviews and provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teamsCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutionsSupport platform security, access controls, compliance, and governance initiativesProvide expertise across CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and related ServiceNow modulesTroubleshoot complex platform issues and optimize system performanceDevelop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plansCommunicate technical concepts and architectural recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequired Qualifications U.S. Citizen or Green Card HolderBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of overall IT experience5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow architecture and development experienceExpert-level knowledge of ServiceNow platform administration, architecture, and developmentStrong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML/CSS, Service Portal, Studio, and UI BuilderExperience designing and implementing integrations using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MID ServersStrong understanding of CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, Discovery, and Service MappingExperience working in highly regulated, secure, or government environmentsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow Agile DevelopmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work onsite in Columbus, Ohio, four days per weekRequired Certifications Experience supporting state, local, or federal government organizationsExperience working in FedRAMP or similarly regulated cloud environmentsITIL v4 Foundation CertificationExperience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and modernization initiativesServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)Security+ or comparable cybersecurity certificationBenefits (W-2 Employees)
